HOLLYWOOD WORKSHOP

Take this opportunity to learn audition skills from the Director of TV Commercials and Print Modeling at a prestigious Hollywood talent agency with offices in NYC and LA. With over 20 years of experience she was awarded agent of the year in 2009 and 2010 by the Talent Managers Association. She also won the Telly award for Best Casting in a Commercial from Women in Film. Her agency represents children and teens for commercials, modeling, TV series and films. Her department has booked hundreds of commercials for Disney, Target, Nickelodeon, Toys R Us and more. 

SUCCESS STORIES: This agency represents youth and adult actors on the following TV shows and films: Ariel Winter on “Modern Family”, Savannah Paige Rae on “Parenthood”, David Guintolli lead actor on “Grimm”, Mary Mouser on “Body of Proof” and Max Charles in the films Spiderman and The Three Stooges. Ava Acres was cast in a Keebler Cookies and American Airlines commercial.

They also represent Darren Criss, who is Blaine on “Glee” and he also is appearing on Broadway in NYC replacing Daniel Ratcliff in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”. The career of Miley Cyrus from “Hannah Montana” was launched by this agency.

Kids on Camera Bay Area student, Riley O’Flynn, participated in a previous workshop with this agent and he went on to be cast in a Captain Crunch Cereal national TV commercial and former student, Justin Whalin, won an Emmy for an ABC movie “Other Mothers”.

ACTIVITIES include audition skills, improvisation and cold script reading using professional commercials. Analyze scripts, discover the reality of the piece, hit key words, find humor, and learn to take direction and make adjustments.

Challenges for all skill levels. Beginners are welcome. Bring a healthy snack and 2 snapshots or pro photos. Resumes are optional.
