EXPLORE VOICEOVER ACTING, create characters, and learn to taste your words with voiceover agent Melissa Berger! Expand your range and learn to take direction as you explore the categories of animation, live action, interactive games, and narration. Discover character voices that live inside you! Learn to analyze scripts, create a bio and back story for your character, and use gestures to bring characters to life. Polish your phrasing, add texture to readings, improve timing, diction, and learn to sustain energy. Melissa is a Theatrical and Young Talent Voiceover Agent at a prestigious agency in L.A. She is a pro actor and has studied theatre at Univ. of Michigan and holds an MFA from CalArts. Her clients have voiced roles in Finding Nemo, Space Chimps, Horton Hears a Who, Avatar, Thrillville, The Ant Bully, and Chowder. Students must read at grade level. All skill levels are welcome. Bring a lunch and 2 snapshots or pro photos. Parents attend a Q & A session at 5:15PM. (The presence of this coach in no way constitutes the promise of representation or employment.)
