Judy Berlin is a credentialed teacher in Theatre Arts and Communications, plus she is a professional casting director for over 25 years and a voice-over on Sesame Street since 1985. Judy and her professional staff are proud to provide an educational environment in which students learn to stretch and take risks, as performers and as people. All courses are designed to benefit both the actor and non-actor, by allowing students an outlet for their creative energy!

TV 1 features a full curriculum with audition skills, two scripts, improv,
characters and costumes, and a pro photo shoot.
Parents attend the last class for a review and evaluations.

Gain insight from expert coaches and local and L.A. casting directors. They bring audition skills and educational experiences which include interview skills, improv and cold script reading. Parents join the last part of class for a Q & A and learn how to help their child succeed.

Tap into that funny part of YOU. Free your body, learn timing, to move easily and use gestures to enhance comedic characters for stage, films or commercials. We will create physical comedy routines thru voice and movement and explore those unique elements of innocence, wonder, fear, and the ridiculous that lives inside us all.
THE COACH Kelly “Texas” Holly is a pro circus artist, graduate of the Univ. of North Texas w/ a BA in dance. She studied at the Clown Conservatory at San Francisco's Circus Center and performs locally w/The New Pickle Circus and Jump Theater. In 2012 she will coach our spring TV Acting 1 series with age 4-6 & 7-12 and our summer day camps.

Take this rare opportunity to study with the Director of TV Commercials and Print Modeling at a prestigious talent agency w/ offices in New York and Los Angeles. She was awarded agent of the year in 2009 and 2010 by the Talent Managers Assoc. Her agency represents actors for commercials, modeling and TV series and films. • ACTIVITIES: cold script reading using pro commercials and improv. Analyze scripts, discover the reality of the piece, hit key words, find humor, and learn to take direction and make adjustments.
