Melinda Darlington-Bach & Cynthia Pepper

AWARD WINNING PRODUCERS & FILMMAKERS Melinda Darlington-Bach & Cynthia Pepper will cover every aspect from A to Z about children entering the world of show business. As partners in their 11 year old San Francisco production company, Xanadu Entertainment, Melinda and Cynthia have worked in every area of film, theatre and television.

ACTIVITIES will begin with an easy movement warm-up followed by fun interactive improvisations and theatre games. Students will perform on-camera with an important introduction (slate) and an interview question. Audition skills for cold readings with commercial scripts will follow. We will also analyze the difference between a film script audition and a commercial copy audition script.

Students must read at grade level.
Open to all skill levels; beginners to advanced.

FOR THE LAST HOUR PARENTS AND STUDENTS will hear a wide variety of topics covered about the acting business from A to Z and participate in a Q and A session.
 
ABOUT THE DIRECTORS: Melinda and Cynthia have produced and directed children's films shown on the Emmy Award winning series Sesame Street and the Mill Valley Film Festival. As members of the performing unions, SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and AFTRA (American Federation of TV and Radio Artists) for over 20 years, Melinda and Cynthia have appeared in over 65 national commercials, feature films and industrials as well as choreographing over 25 commercials. www.xanaduentertainmentllc.com
