OUR TALENT SHOWCASE

IS YOUR GOAL TO MEET DIRECTORS
& TALENT AGENTS?

Twice a year 25 students participate in our Talent Showcase, where their performances are reviewed by talent agents, film producers, and media professionals. Participants are also featured in a Talent Showcase Book which include their photos and resumes.

Showcases lead to opportunities for talent agency representation, and auditions for films, commercials, stage, modeling, and voiceover. In addition we refer to our showcase talent when we receive casting requests.

Eligibility: Participants are evaluated individually. Students are selected based on performance skills, maturity, script reading, and audition readiness after completion of our TV Acting 1 and 2 weekend series  in our school year program.

Summer day camp students are also considered and parents of summer students are encouraged to contact our office to discuss their child’s readiness and eligibility for showcase participation.

To Prepare: DVD’s are prepared which include excerpts of their performances from their classes such as scenes, monologues, improvisations and cold script readings.

Students also attend an additional weekend day on-camera where they perform improvisations and cold script readings with short age appropriate scripts. On that same day parents attend a seminar to learn about the rules and regulations of the Industry with representatives from the Performing Actors Unions, SAG/AFTRA.
