JUDY BERLIN |
Director and founder of Kids on Camera since 1981, Judy is a credentialed teacher in Theatre Arts/Communications, a professional voiceover, vocalist, and casting director. With a B.A. from Michigan State U, and graduate work in film at Wayne State U, Judy has taught for over 30 years in Chicago, Detroit, Marin, San Francisco, and Canada. She was casting director for Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Educat’l Films for 7 yrs. Casting credits include DISNEY FILMS and NICKELODEON. Judy has been a voiceover on SESAME STREET and is a member of SAG/AFTRA. Judy has taught children with learning differences (eg: dyslexia), at the Developmental Resource Ctr, in Florida and the Charles Armstrong School, in Belmont, Ca. HEIDI ABBOTT |
She directs children's theater at The Hamlin School, California Shakespeare Theater, and Kids on Camera while pursuing her acting career on stage, in films and TV. She received an Arty Award for Best Lead Actress (2000) for her portrayal of Inez in MIRA Theatre's No Exit. She has directed for S.F. Shakespeare Festival, Marin Theatre Co., Willows Theatre, Calif. Theatre Arts, and Peninsula Youth Theatre. She will perform at Contra Costa Civic Theatre and was cast as Helena and Starveling in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Pear Avenue Theatre. She has performed at Marin Shakespeare Co., S.F.'s Tony 'n Tina's Wedding, Eastenders Rep Co. at Eureka Theatre, the Phoenix Theatre, Ross Valley Players, Hayward's Little Theatre, the San Leandro Shakespeare Festival, Palo Alto Players, and more. She has studied with Richard Seyd, Bobby Weinapple, Jeffrey Bihr, A.C.T., Full Circle Prod., and in N.YC. at The New Actor's Workshop. TIFFANY MARIE AUSTIN |
Actor, singer, director, dancer, acting coach, office administrator, and Kids on Camera alumni. A graduate of Redwood High in Marin, where she was an integral part of their student-run theatre co., Tiffany received her BA in Theatre from USC with a minor in music performance/vocal emphasis. Recent performances include Broadway by the Bay’s Bye Bye Birdie, and My Fair Lady, long-running original musical revue Are We Almost There? at the Shelton Theater in S.F., and performances with the Belrose Theatre, the Marin Mt. Play, and Pacific Alliance Stage Co.. Tiffany has come full circle and returned to Kids on Camera, where she is proud to have the opportunity to give back to students the valuable lessons she herself received there. DEBÓRAH ELIEZER |
Actor, voiceover, dancer, puppeteer, and coach. She received her BA (Cum Laude) in Drama from SFSU, and has studied with Anne Bogart and the SITI Co. in N.Y.C. She was cast on the Nickelodeon TV comm’l, “Dora The Exporer”, is a voice for 30 Leapfrog Toys, Yahoo! Voice mail, and the Sims video game, “Sims2 for Console”. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, LA Times, and on NBC and CNN TV news. Deborah is the educat’l director for foolsFURY Theater and trains with the pro salsa dance team Salsamania. She represented the U.S. in Egypt with local theater co. Golden Thread, at the Int’l Festival for Experimental Theatre. She has worked with Marin Shakespeare Co. and The Puppet Players. Choreography credits include The Traveling Jewish Theatre, Eclipse Dance Theater, and Fools FURY Co. Debórah is the Director of Swivel Arts. | JENNY FREDENBURG |
Actor, dancer, choreographer, voiceover, and coach. She received her BA from Sonoma State U. and is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. Jenny is a former dancer with the Nutmeg Ballet Co. in Connecticut. She has danced, acted, choreographed, directed, and taught on the East and West Coast. Some roles include: Juliet, from Romeo and Juliet, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival tour, and self-directed for The Eclectic Theatre Festival which she co-founded; Honey in Who’s Afraid of Virgina Woolf?; Guys and Dolls, Cinderella, Heidi Chronicles, and more. Jenny is happily raising two young boys and teaches age 4-6 in TV 1 and TV 2. On staff for 4 years.

ZOE GALVEZ |
Actor, voiceover, model, dancer, and coach. Zoe received her BA (Summa Cum Laude) in Drama from SF State U and has studied improv with Keith Johnstone, author of IMPRO. She is a graduate and company member of BATS Improv (www.improv.org) where she performs regularly. Theatrical credits include performances in adaptations of Dicken’s HARD TIMES and Melville’s MOBY DICK and understudying for the lead female role in the World Premiere of THE LATE HENRY MOSS, written and directed by Sam Shepard. She has taught acting workshops sponsored by the South Australian Govt., and currently teaches adult improv and movement at BATS. Cast in over 75 voiceovers, her voice credits include MACY’S, SPRINT PCS, and many video games including SIMS 2. TV commercials include Dodge Ram and KGO news. Dance training includes jazz, tap, ballet, salsa and hip hop. She offers private coaching. She coaches TV 1 & 2 and modeling. On staff for 8 years. | ||||||||||||

LAURIE KEITH |
Actor, vocalist, writer & coach received a BFA from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts, w/ a minor in Broadcast Journalism. She portrayed Lilly St. Regis in this year’s Marin Mt. Play, Annie. She has studied w/ David Mamet, Cameron Manheim and Felicity Huffman at the Atlantic Theatre Co in NYC. Off-Broadway performances include Grove St. Playhouse, Atlantic Theatre Co., and LA Mama ETC, where she wrote and directed an original one act. Her work is published in The Best Women’s Monologues, ‘98. Laurie toured 40 states performing w/ The Nat’l Theatre for the Performing Arts. She has also performed with the Marin, SF, Sierra, and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festivals, and at Yerba Buena Ctr for the Arts. TV commercial credits include, Yahoo, Levi’s, (and Pandora a Lifetime Ch. Actor, voiceover, comedian, and coach. T. J. received his BA (Cum Laude) in Drama from SF State U. He studied film and taught at Full Circle Productions, Improv at BATS, and theatre at ACT. Theatrical credits include the long running Tony’N’ Tina’s Wedding at the Cable Car Theatre, and A Christmas Carol with the Bay Area troupe Imagination Theatre. T.J. has performed often at the Eureka Theatre in the BOA festival presented by Three Wise Monkey Theatre Co. and at the annual Fringe Festival where one of his performances earned the coveted Best of Fringe. He’s performed in dozens of Independent Films, Industrials, and TV. He’s worked with Macy’s and National Geographic. Circus artist and actor, she received her B.A. in Visual/Performing Arts, at Syracuse Univ., her Masters in Acting/Theatre Arts, at Humboldt State U. and has studied w/ the Dell Arte’ School of Physical Theatre, Keith Johnstone, & in Ohio, at the Goldston & Johnson School for Mimes. On our staff for 10 yrs, she has also taught and performed at Circus Smirkus in Vermont, Camp WinnaRainbow in CA, on Martha’s Vineyard, and with Contraband and Wise Fool Puppet Intervention. As a circus artist she juggles and has talents in gymnastics and clowning. She recently authored “Zephrum Gates & the Mysterious Purple Haze”. Trish teaches age 4-6 on Saturdays and is a guest coach at our one-day workshops for all ages. On staff for 10 years.

DAVID ROSENTHAL |
Actor, voiceover, director and private coach. David received his BA in Theatre, Anthropology, and English Lit. from Sarah Lawrence College. He has studied in NYC at Herbert Bergoff Studios and in SF with Richard Seyd. Cast in over 50 commercials, including Toyota & Alka Seltzer, he is also a voiceover for SONY, SEGA, & NINTENDO and the announcer for Astro Boy Cartoon. Directorial and coaching credits include Kittredge School, S.O. T. A., Mercy High, Freeman School, and Lilliput Players Children’s Theatre. He has 16 years of teaching experience and is father to Jonah and Madeleine, who also act in the commercial industry. He brings a great warmth and sensitivity to his students. He teaches all ages, offers pvts, and will focus on Sunday teen TV 1 and 2 series, TV 4, and one-day workshops. He also teaches adults on weekday evenings. On staff for 14 years. | ||||||||||||
