| Tap into that funny part of YOU. Free your body, learn to move easily, improve timing skills and use gestures to enhance your comedic characters for stage, films or commercials.
We will learn to create physical comedy routines thru voice and movement and explore those unique elements of innocence, wonder, fear, and the ridiculous that lives inside us all. Actors will explore their inner emotional life at its simplest.
The workshop will include physical principles--such as slips, trips, falls--and exploring relationships and status. Students will develop a stronger sense of the comedian through character work and learn how to incorporate the audience in everything they do. Let them laugh at you.
Students will learn to:
1. Connect authentic body impulse to physical expression.
2. Solve performance problems onstage in character.
ENROLL LIMIT, 12.
