INTERNATIONAL TIES

A Guest from Russia

Natalia (2nd right) with teen students

SF State U approached our school to help Natalia Skylar (24), a Russian visitor in their international exchange program. Her dream was to learn about operating an acting and modeling school and agency. She joined our staff for the month of May, and was a wonderful addition. It was an honor to be chosen by SFSU. In a recent email Natalia shared...

”I’m glad I had chance to meet such great people like you at “Kids on Camera” I really miss San-Francisco! Enclosed is my impression about “Kids on Camera” to share with others. First of all I would like to express my appreciation for giving me the opportunity to work with you. I have gained a lot of experience which will sure help me in my future life. I met really talented and professional people. I made new friends and most importantly had a good time. Now I know how “Kids” acting school should be organized to be successful. I enjoyed to be involved in scene work process by myself. I’m a model but if you know how to act in front of the camera you will be a better model. So it was really helpful experience. What is more fun than taking part in acting classes. To create a believable set of circumstances, to be flexible working with different partners and make expressive choices. It was so cool. I loved it. I feel very lucky to be the one receiving such benefit, and I’ll never forget the time I’ve spent at “Kids on Camera”. Thank you, best regards, Natalia (Russia, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk)
